Back to the Grind…

The good news is that everyone now has a solid understanding of their design proposals in 3 dimensions and the variety was really nice to see. So as a recap of today, if you haven’t already, please convert your 3 design proposals into 3 scanned hand renderings photoshopped over the site image that you produced for the redemption board (Mark you’re ahead of the game). These 3 images will be incorporated into your Part B presentation board.

Unfortunately, upon further discussion with the profs, it has been confirmed that all iterations will now be mandatory digital 3D images. Sorry to force your hands on the shift to digital only but it will hopefully be easier now that you understand your designs in 3 dimensions. For some, it will manage your expectations on how an ambitious design can and can not be communicated through a digital model.

For Tuesday, please hand in the following:

3 renderings from the view (your section 8 site image produced for the redemption board).

these 3 can be:

- 3 variations on the recommended design selected from today’s crits

- 2 variations on the recommended design selected from today’s crits + 1 wild card design

- 3 completely new variations on a new set of designs (this is only for those unable to understand the concept of design iteration and who don’t know how to choose what hat to wear in the morning.)

Good luck Section 8!!!

Feel free to scroll through this future critic’s work (http://www.fishtnk.com/)

And here are a bunch of concept images for you all to share:
